Last month there were reports that Samsung could be redesigning the S Pen. We had initially thought that this meant a physical redesign, but leaked renders have suggested that isn’t the case. Instead if the rumors are to be believed, we could be looking at new features that users will be able to use the S Pen with.
According to a report, there are at least 3 different features we can expect. One of those features is a translation feature which will allow users to translate words by hovering the S Pen over it. This would no doubt be much more convenient than having to copy and paste it into a translation app like Google Translate.
Another feature we heard is Magnify, which as the name implies will magnify an area that the S Pen is hovering over. Last but not least there is a Glance feature. Apparently this will make it easier for users to swap between apps just by hovering over a floating app thumbnail. These aren’t exactly groundbreaking features, but given that the Galaxy Note series is known for its S Pen synergy, we suppose long-time fans of the series could appreciate these additions.
In any case the Note 7 will be officially revealed tomorrow, so if you’d like to find out more be sure to check back with us tomorrow.
