LG hopes that its upcoming flagship handset will be able to reverse the fortunes of its mobile business. It has already been confirmed that the LG V20 is going to be the first handset that comes with Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. There have been a lot of rumors and reports about this handset but we have yet to see a proper image of the V20. That changes today. Well-known leaker @evleaks has leaked renders of the handset and today he tweeted out a proper picture of LG’s next flagship.
The picture appears to be quite similar to the renders that we have seen so it’s quite likely that this might be the final design of the LG V20. It appears that LG hasn’t really made any major changes to the design as the top speaker grill, secondary ticker display, front camera position and the volume buttons are all where they used to be.
What this picture doesn’t shed light on is the speculation that the LG V20 might have some modular elements like the LG G5. We have yet to see any confirmation of that and this picture doesn’t clear up the matter so we might have to wait until more images are leaked or LG officially announces the handset.
You won’t have to wait for that too long. LG has an event scheduled for September 6th in San Francisco where it will formally unveil the LG V20.
