Just in case you weren’t already aware that Samsung will soon be releasing a new flagship handset, Best Buy would like to remind you that the Galaxy Note 7 is coming out soon. The retailer published a pre-order page for the handset today with a “coming soon” message but pulled it quickly after it went live. It appears someone jumped the gun over at Best Buy since pre-order information won’t officially be available until tomorrow.
Samsung is conducting an event tomorrow in New York City to formally launch the Galaxy Note 7, however, we already have a very good idea of what it’s going to look like as it has been leaked so many times that it’s not even going to be a surprise anymore.
The Galaxy Note 7 is Samsung’s new flagship phablet that features a 5.7 inch curved Super AMOLED display, a proven design, and an innovative new feature in the form of an iris scanner which will prove to be faster and more safer than a traditional fingerprint scanner.
It’s likely that pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 might go live tomorrow soon after Samsung is done with the announcement. There’s no consensus on a release date right now but the rumor mill believes that the handset will start shipping in the United States by the second week of August.
