According to a new research note released to investors, Kuo believes that Apple will be retaining the same size and thickness as the current models. However he does not dispute the possibility that Apple could be going with thinner displays, it just sounds like he doesn’t believe that it will result in a thinner device.
Kuo also claims that Apple will be adopting a host of new sensors for the Apple Watch 2, which includes GPS and a barometer. It is also rumored to be faster than its predecessor and will come with waterproofing features and a larger battery. There have been rumors about the Apple Watch 2 possibly supporting LTE, but apparently that will not happen until at least 2017.
Obviously you should take this information with a grain of salt for now, but Kuo is pretty well-known for his accuracy in terms of information related to Apple, so maybe there might be some truth to his claims, but either way try not to get your hopes up just yet.
