As you might have heard, the next expansion of World of Warcraft is nearly upon us with a little over a month left before its release. In fact the game’s pre-patch has been making its way to gamers to prepare them for it, and just recently Blizzard has reminded gamers that the current Warlords of Draenor content will be removed soon.
Of course the expansion won’t be removed, but certain aspects of it will no longer be available once Legion has been released. Blizzard has taken this time to remind gamers that if they still want to participate in the Brawler’s Guild, Challenge Mode, or the Legendary Ring quest line, you won’t be able to once the Legion pre-patch has arrived.
For gamers who are already on Chapter II or later of the ring’s quest, you guys still have until the 30th of August to complete it. Once Legion has been released, the quest and all of its related materials will be removed from your quest log. The Grove Warden moose mount that drops from Heroic Archimonde will also be removed once Legion has been released, so mount collectors will want to get on that ASAP if they haven’t already.
This move by Blizzard isn’t surprising as they probably don’t want gamers to come back to certain Warlords of Draenor content at higher levels to get items that other players had fought so hard for. This was done in the Mists of Pandaria expansion where the heirloom weapon from Garrosh was removed, and the legendary cloak as well.
