A couple of days ago, Blizzard confirmed that the World of Warcraft: Legion pre-patch would be released on the 19th of July, and sure it has been released. If you haven’t fired up your Battle.net launcher in the past month or so, don’t be surprised to see yourself hit with a massive patch download. For those who managed to pre-download it, all you need to do is fire up the game and you’re good to go.
It should be noted that the majority of add-ons, or at least the popular ones, have since been updated to support the latest patch. If you haven’t updated them, don’t be surprised if you find your game a bit laggy as the add-ons are probably interfering with the game. Disable them and you should be fine.
The patch will bring about some massive changes to the game in terms of UI, features, and of course the changes made to the classes. We suppose it was smart of Blizzard to introduce these features ahead of Legion’s release so that when the game is eventually released on the 30th of August, players who were around for the pre-patch won’t be too confused as to how they should play their classes.
Gamers can also look forward to the Demon Invasions which will be arriving at a later date, and also the Demon Hunter class which gamers who pre-purchased Legion will be able to access the class earlier than everyone else.
