During an interview with MCV, Ubisoft Europe’s boss Alain Corre said that the criticisms of the original game was something that they had paid close attention to, and that these criticisms will be addressed in Watch Dogs 2. “We’ve heard what our fans were saying, and we think we have ticked all the boxes to improve everything they wanted, plus we have brought some new innovation.”
He goes on to add that the introduction of the new protagonist is one of the changes they made to address some of the concerns of the original game. “The new character Marcus is very charismatic. You can hack anything you want and it is now twice as big as the previous one. It is also super colorful and nice to look at. More than 80 per cent of the original Watch Dogs players say they want to explore Watch Dogs 2, plus we will appeal to new fans.”
Earlier Ubisoft revealed how Watch Dogs 2 is an open world game where gamers could actually complete the game without any bloodshed, thus giving players more freedom and choice when it comes to playing the game how they want. Watch Dogs 2 has been set for a release on the 15th of November, 2016.
