Take a look around you today and you’ll see that kids as young as 10 having their own smartphones. This is because the technology is so ingrained in our daily lives that not having a smartphone is weird. Turn back the clock 15-20 years ago, owning a phone was considered a luxury that even some adults did not have.
That being said, how does one decide when would be a good time to give their kids a smartphone? For those wondering, help is here as Sprint has launched a new website that aims to help parents decide when is a good time to buy their kids a smartphone. The tool will see Sprint ask parents a series of questions.
These questions presumably will judge whether or not a smartphone for your child is an absolute necessity or if they’re just trying to fit in. For example one of the questions ask if your child needs a phone to stay in touch, whether or not they are clumsy, are they able to behave properly online, and so on.
Obviously it is in Sprint’s best interest if you were to buy a phone for your kids, especially from them, but at the same time we reckon this tool could be come in handy all the same. If you’d like to check it out, head on over to Sprint’s website for the details.
