Unfortunately it seems that for some reason, Sprint has decided to get rid of it. This is according to a report from Fierce Wireless who claims that Sprint has done away with the Galaxy Forever plan without much fanfare. They reached out to Sprint to confirm the details but they weren’t available for comment, but calls made to several Sprint stores have more or less confirmed it all the same.
It is a bit odd that Sprint would kill off the plan so quickly especially since it is less than half a year old. Perhaps there wasn’t much demand for it, or maybe Sprint worked out that it could end up costing them more than they imagined, either way until Sprint officially comments on the matter, we guess it’s anyone’s guess as to why they killed it off.
It is also unclear as to what this might mean for customers who did take part in the plan. Does this mean that they are grandfathered into the plan? Or does it mean that they will be refunded for their troubles?
