Say you’re going on holiday which means that you’ll need to take some time off work. That makes sense, but what about the music you’re going to enjoy while on your trip? We suppose some of you guys probably have your own music that you plan to listen to on the flight, but what if you wanted to try something new?
It looks like Spotify might have something for those who are a little more adventurous when it comes to music. The music streaming platform has launched a new OOO feature that basically creates a playlist based on the place that you are going. The Next Web claims that users can even specify the tempo of your music, and will then create a playlist from artists that are popular in the area at the time.
This means that if you are traveling to a non-English speaking country, you could even end up with some songs in the local language. In fact as if to further rub it in the faces of your colleagues who are still stuck at work while you’re kicking back and relaxing during your holiday, Spotify will even let users set automatic response to emails in which a link to your Spotify playlist will be sent to those who send you emails while you’re away.
It’s an interesting albeit novel feature, but if you’d like to check it out all the same then head on over to Spotify’s website and start creating your OOO playlist!
