Last month Resident Evil 5 was released for current-gen consoles. This is part of a trio of Resident Evil titles that will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One, so the question is, when will Capcom get around to releasing Resident Evil 4 for the PS4 and Xbox One? You would think that they would release it in chronological order, right?
The good news is that gamers will only need to wait for about a month and a half. According to a post on Capcom’s blog, the company has announced that they will be officially releasing the game on the 30th of August. Resident Evil 4 was released back in 2005 meaning that it has been about 11 years since the original game.
Many gamers also feel like Resident Evil 4 is one of the more “classic” games in the franchise, so obviously many gamers are anticipating its re-release, especially on more modern consoles with better hardware.
According to Capcom, “This current release of Resident Evil 4 on PS4 and Xbox One includes all the bonus content from the original game, as well as additional features that were added in later versions. The mysterious and elusive Ada Wong stars in her own side story, which fills in intriguing story gaps from Leon’s mission.” So if you are a fan of the title, mark your calendars for the 30th of August.
