According to the post, the game will now be available in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
So that’s 26 countries, how did we arrive on 27? A few hours ago, the developers announced that the game would now be available in Canada as well, bringing the total number of new countries the game is available in to 27. We expect that there will be more countries added to the list as the days/weeks go on, so if your country isn’t listed yet, don’t worry as we’re sure that Niantic will eventually get to you guys.
In the meantime the game had recently undergone some server issues which some had blamed hackers for. Regardless of the case, Niantic seems to have managed to resolve the issue and gamers can continue playing the game as per normal.
