So what’s up with that? For those wondering, Niantic has since released a statement via their PR agency fortyseven.com to the folks at IGN which reads, “The team is currently heads down working on the game. We do not have any announced plans for countries beyond New Zealand, Australia, US and Germany at the moment.”
The reason for this inquiry is because there are rumors that state that the rollout of Pokemon GO for countries in Asia are expected to begin tomorrow. Based on this statement it sounds like the game isn’t quite ready for Asian markets just yet. We have heard rumors that states that the developers are planning to release it worldwide by the end of the month.
In any case we guess gamers have no choice but to remain patient. We know that spoofing your location sounds tempting, but we have heard reports of how this is a bad idea and that it could lead to you getting banned. Either way we’ll keep an eye out for its release so check back with us at a later date for the updates.
