A couple of days ago, we reported that the new Overwatch character Ana had made its way into the game, but at that time the patch was only available for the PC. For console gamers, it seems that you did not have to wait too long because Sony has announced that Ana is also now available for the PS4.
Unfortunately we have not heard anything about the Xbox One console yet, but we reckon its release shouldn’t be too far behind. For those a little upset that Blizzard released the patch on the PC first, the developers have acknowledged this in the past and have stated that they do plan to eventually get to the point where patches can be released across all platforms at once, but for now gamers will just have to remain patient.
Ana is the latest hero Blizzard has added to Overwatch. She is a support character that can heal from great distances, meaning that she gets to stay out of harm’s way while ensuring her teammates stay alive. According to the hints and teasers, Ana won’t be the only new hero Blizzard will be introducing in the near future.
Earlier this month it was suggested that we could be seeing a new hero introduced at Comic-Con, and recent hints have suggested that it could be Sombra. Either way check back with us later for the details.
