We have been hearing rumors about the next-gen Samsung Galaxy Note handset, which for some reason Samsung could be deciding to call it the Galaxy Note 7, instead of the Galaxy Note 6 which makes more sense from a chronological standpoint, but it’s still Samsung’s handset to do as they please.
Now one of the rumors is that the handset will only be offered in a curved display variant, whereas in the past Samsung offered users the choice of a flat screen or a curved screen. Turns out the rumors are starting to come together because thanks to famous leakster Evan Blass, he just tweeted out a set of images that are allegedly that of the Note 7.
As you can see, these are probably the most official renderings that we’ve seen so far. They are also in line with the rumors that have hinted at a curved display. According to Blass, there will be three different color options, which includes black onyx, silver titanium, and blue coral. The design isn’t too drastic from previous iterations, but that’s a good thing as we do like the previous design.
It’s a bit hard to make out from the renders whether or not the rumored Smart Glow feature will make it to the Galaxy Note 7, but we guess we’ll have to wait and see. Samsung is said to make the official announcement in August so we guess we still have a bit of waiting left to do.
