NVIDIA has just announced its new high-end GPU, the (new) Titan X. Obviously, the novelty comes from the new Pascal architecture which is more power-efficient than last year’s Titan X.
With 12 Billion transistors, the Titan X (2016) chip is not surprisingly the densest GPU ever for NVIDIA. Titan X with the Pascal architecture features 3584 compute cores (1.53GHz) and reaches a performance of 11 TFLOPS (Tera–flops).
The new Titan X graphics card will have 12GB of GDDR5X memory and It will be on the market on August 2 2016 for $1200
The Titan X 2015 was unveiled in March 2016, featured 8 Billion transistors and was built using NVIDIA’s Maxwell architecture.
