Android Nokia Phones With 2K Displays Rumored For Launch In China

A couple of months ago, Nokia made headlines when they announced that they would be returning to the mobile scene, and now it seems that thanks to rumors and leaks, at least two Nokia Android devices have been revealed and boy do they pack some pretty impressive hardware specs under the hood!

If the rumors are to be believed, there are at least two Android Nokia phones in the works. One will sport a 5.2-inch display while the other will sport a 5.5-inch display, but apart from the difference in display sizes, both are expected to feature 2K displays which is more or less the standard for today.

In addition to the display rumors, word has it that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 will be powering both handsets as well. The devices are also rumored to be IP68 certified meaning that it will be able to withstand a bit of water to a certain degree. Unfortunately it seems that both devices are rumored for the Chinese market meaning that it is unclear if they will find their way stateside.

We should point out that while Nokia will be returning to the mobile scene, it won’t be the way you expect. Nokia will be returning in the sense that they will be loaning out its brand to companies who will then make the handsets, meaning that these devices are only Nokia in name, but hopefully these companies will be able to recreate some of the magic that Nokia had back in its day.
