The highly anticipated No Man’s Sky game from developer Hello Games has finally gone gold, this has been confirmed by the developer itself via Twitter. No Man’s Sky has been in development for more than four years so it’s a big achievement for the team that has spent so much time in creating this game. What this means is that No Man’s Sky is now definitely one step closer to release.
No Man’s Sky was supposed to be released in June this year but the developer delayed the release to August 9th because it felt that additional time was needed to polish the game so that it could live up to its hype and potential.
Now that No Man’s Sky has gone gold it means that the game is fit for final release. Development is done and dusted, but the team will continue to work on patches and updates for the game as it will be supported for quite some time after release.
The preparations for the release can now begin. It will be quite unusual for there to be another delay in the release so those who have been anxiously waiting for this game to arrive can mark their calendars for August 9th, No Man’s Sky is finally going to be released.
