While Sony might be done with the VAIO brand and have sold it off, the people who bought it certainly aren’t done with it. So far we have seen several VAIO releases but for the most part, they aren’t really something to shout about as in terms of design, they’re pretty standard and its specs are also relatively standard for laptops in today’s day and age.
However it looks like VAIO could be thinking of shaking things up because the company has recently unveiled their new C15 laptops which as you can see in the photo above, is definitely a step away from the designs we’ve come to expect in the past. VAIO appears to be adopting a more colorful and fashionable approach to their laptops.
As for its specs, the C15s will come with a 15.5-inch 1366×768 display and will also be powered by an Intel Celeron 3215U processor with 4GB of RAM, and for that you will have to fork out close to $650, which admittedly is rather pricey for what you are getting, and considering that you could probably get better for the same price.
There are options to bump it to a Full HD display 8GB of RAM, and an Intel i3 processor, but we reckon that will probably set you back even further. Unfortunately there is no word on whether the VAIO C15 laptops will be making their way stateside, but we’ll keep an eye out for its release all the same.
