Several days ago, a photo made its way online which showed off the iPhone 7. According to the photo and other photos we’ve seen, it has more or less “confirmed” the fact that this year’s iPhone will come with a slightly larger camera, although we can’t be sure what is the reasoning behind the larger lens.
Now thanks to a photo posted by Nowhereelse.fr (via MacRumors), a much clearer photo has emerged (see image to the right) which essentially confirms what we have seen so far. In this photo, it shows that the iPhone sports a much larger camera than before. The bump is still there but instead of just jutting out, it looks like Apple has decided to build the case around the bump which lends itself to a slightly smoother finish.
Other than that, the flash unit on the phone appears to be the same, and the design of the antenna lines are also similar to what we have seen before. It’s a bit hard to tell from the photos if this is an iPhone 7 or the Plus model. From what we have heard, the Plus model will come with a dual lens setup.
That is unless the rumors are true and that only a higher-end version of the Plus will sport the dual lens feature. In any case take it with a grain of salt, but with September coming up in the next few months, we should have our answer by then.
