Lenovo Quietly Launches The Moto E3 Smartphone

moto-e3Motorola’s lineup in the past few years has consisted on the Moto X which represents their high-end range, the Moto G which is an affordable mid-ranger, and the Moto E which is the company’s budget smartphone aimed at users who just need a phone and couldn’t really care much about its specs.

Now with the Moto G4 and G4 Plus having been launched, we’re sure some are wondering if we could be seeing new Moto E handsets. The good news is that Lenovo has not forgotten about the device and has since quietly launched the Moto E3, the latest smartphone in the Moto E family of handsets.

As expected, the phone really isn’t much to shout about, but its price is probably its selling point. The phone will cost £99, which is roughly $131 after conversion. It will pack a 5-inch display (which is an upgrade over its predecessor) with a HD resolution, a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and will also come with an upgraded 8MP camera on the back.

There will be 8GB of storage with support for microSD expansion, a 2,800mAh battery, and will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow preinstalled. No word on whether the Moto E3 will make its way stateside, but with the G4 and G4 Plus launching in the US, we don’t see why not.
