The problem with owning multiple gadgets like a Blu-ray player, a TV, a set-top box, an amplifier, and so on is that you’ll have so many remote controls to deal with as there will essentially be one remote control per device. This can be confusing, not to mention a huge waste of space but thankfully Logitech is here to unclutter your day.
Now Logitech has over the years been putting out its Harmony universal remote controls, although for a while its Harmony 950 was only available in Europe. The good news is that if you live in the US, Logitech has announced that the Harmony 950 will now be available for purchase in the US where it will be priced at $250.
Now we know that $250 is a lot of money to spend on a remote control, especially when you consider that some of the devices it can control probably costs less. However it does come with a color touchscreen display that should make navigating and using it a lot less confusing and more efficient.
Users can use the buttons on the remote or navigate it via the touchscreen by swiping and tapping. The remote will be able to control a variety of devices like the Apple TV, Roku, TiVo, gaming consoles, and a variety of CD, DVD, and Blu-ray players, with more than 6,000 brands and 270,000 compatible devices. If you’d like to get your hands on it, head on over to Logitech’s website.
