According to a report, it seems that HTC and HP could soon be working together to create Vive-ready PCs. What this means is that HP will be creating PCs with specs that meet the requirements (and then some) needed to power the HTC Vive VR headset, so gamers who want a ready-to-go PC can just pick any of HP’s selections knowing that it will work.
Neither HP nor HTC has confirmed anything yet to obviously take it with a grain of salt for now. However it really isn’t that much of a stretch to think that the rumors are true. Earlier this year MSI created Vive-ready laptops and Alienware also announced Oculus Rift-ready PCs, so the idea of HP creating their own Vive-ready PCs wouldn’t really surprise us if it were true.
No word on when HTC or HP will announce this collaboration, but if you are in the market for such a product, we’ll keep our eyes peeled and update you guys accordingly.
