Earlier this month we reported that the HTC Desire 530 was launched in the US, and for those eager to get their hands on this uniquely designed phone, you will be happy to learn that you will now be able to purchase the handset either from HTC directly where it is priced at $179 at full retail price, or you can pick it up from T-Mobile where it will be priced at $6.67 a month over the course of the next 24 months with $0 upfront.
Now the HTC Desire 530 is obviously not the most powerful smartphone in the market today. However it does come with a pretty affordable price tag and for what you’re getting, it’s not too bad. Just as a recap for those of you who forgot, the HTC Desire is a smartphone that features what HTC calls a micro-splash paint job, giving its unique speckled look.
It comes with a 5-inch 720p HD display and under the hood, we are looking at the likes of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset clocked at 1.1GHz and 1.5GB of RAM. The phone will also come with 16GB of storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.
