The last Hearthstone expansion was launched earlier this year in April in the form of “Whispers of the Old Gods”. For gamers hankering for new adventures and new cards, you’re in luck as Blizzard has a new Hearthstone adventure in the works and have recently sent out invites to an announcement they’ll be making soon.
As you can see in the invite to the right, Blizzard will be announcing the new adventure via their official Twitch channel on the 28th of July, 11pm PDT. We know it seems a bit late to be making an announcement, but the reveal will apparently be taking place at ChinaJoy 2016 which means that in Asia, it will be around the afternoon.
At a glance the invite doesn’t really seem like much, but some have speculated that the upcoming Hearthstone adventure could take place in Karazhan, a raid from the World of Warcraft’s The Burning Crusade expansion. This is apparently due to some of the “hints” on the invite, like the mention of “old friends” which supposedly points at Medivh, and given that Karazhan used to be where Medivh resided, that’s how the conclusion was drawn.
That and the feather which could be a feather of the raven that Medivh transforms into could also be another potential clue. In any case we guess we have about a week before the details are revealed, so check back with us next Thursday for the official reveal.
