A couple of days ago we reported that a leaked image revealed that we could be looking forward to a Gears of War 4 Xbox One S bundle. Turns out the leak was right because on the Xbox website, Microsoft has officially announced the bundle which turns out that it is a limited edition console and will also be the first customized Xbox One S.
As you can see in the image above, the console looks pretty striking in its red finish. It has been designed and themed around Gears of War 4 which also gives it that slightly beat-up look. In fact to make it seem more gritty, the scratch marks on the console and the controller are actually laser-etched, meaning that you can sort of “feel” them.
However apart from the custom paint job, the console will remain exactly the same as the regular version. It will be offered in 2TB so you should have more than enough space for your games. It will also give gamers a copy of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition for both the Xbox One and Windows 10, and gamers will be getting early access to the game on the 7th of October.
The console is priced at $450 and will be available in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Turkey at launch.
