However it looks like we could have another Galaxy Note 7 variant in the works. According to new reports, it seems that the handset sporting a different model number SM-N935F was spotted on Geekbench. This time instead of a Snapdragon 820 chipset, the Geekbench listing revealed that the phone was powered by an Exynos 8893 chipset.
Apart from that, it also listed the handset as running on Android 6.1 Marshmallow which has yet to be officially released. This is rather interesting because if it really does come with Android 6.1, Samsung really would be beating many OEMs to the punch. It is possible that maybe Samsung is running an alpha/beta version of the build while running the benchmarks, so try not to get your hopes up just yet.
In the meantime it seems that some of the other specs have been confirmed, like its 4GB of RAM. Samsung is said to be launching the handset come August so hopefully we’ll have more details then.
