We have already read so much about Samsung’s upcoming flagship handset and have also seen a couple of leaked renders of the device. However, no purported live pictures of the handset have been leaked online until today. The first claimed live photo of the Galaxy Note 7 has leaked online and it does appear to be the same handset that we have been reading about over the past few weeks.
Rumors about the Galaxy Note 7 suggest that it’s going to have a 5.7 inch display and it certainly looks that way in the picture. It’s also said to have a dual-edge curved display like the Galaxy S7 Edge and that does appear to be the case here.
The device is also claimed to have an iris scanning feature which would require additional hardware up front, there does appear to be some changes to the front panel so it’s likely that this might be the first Samsung smartphone to feature iris scanning.
Samsung doesn’t appear to have made any major changes to the design itself, the only big difference being the dual-edge display that has never before been used with any Galaxy Note handset.
We may see more of such leaked pictures in the coming weeks as Samsung gears up to unveil the Galaxy Note 7. The company hasn’t confirmed anything yet but it’s expected to launch the Galaxy Note 7 in the first week of August.
