Bethesda announced last month that Fallout Shelter would be arriving on the PC, and earlier this week the company started a countdown teasing its arrival. The good news is that the game is here and is officially available for download. All you need to do is get the Bethesda launcher, sign up for an account if you don’t have one already, and you’re good to go.
Now since this is essentially a PC game, there are some requirements for it, but safe to say that everyone should be good to go. The game will require users to have an Intel Core 2 quad-core CPU or better, at least 2GB of RAM, Windows 7 64-bit or higher, 2GB of hard disk space, and interestingly enough you will require either the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 or the Radeon HD 6970 GPU or better.
We’re not sure if you could run it on an integrated GPU, especially for some of you guys with laptops, but you can always try your luck. The game is free and according to reports, it plays like the mobile version of the game, except that it will now run on your PC instead of your smartphone or tablet. If you’ve played the mobile version you should be familiar with how the game works, but for those who aren’t familiar, there is a tutorial stage that you can go through to familiarize yourself with it.
