Pokemon GO involves a lot of traveling, especially if you’re looking for Pokemon gyms or places in which rarer Pokemon have been sighted. This can be rather tedious, which is why it isn’t surprising to learn that there are enterprising users on Craigslist who are offering to drive gamers around, claiming that they can take them to hot spots.
There are multiple drivers offering their services, with one charging as much as $30 for the first hour, and $20 for subsequent hours. One driver even offers WiFi in the car so that gamers won’t have to burn through their data plans just looking for Pokemon. These drivers claim that they know the best locations and gyms that players probably didn’t know existed.
That being said while this sounds like a great idea, just recently we learned that robbers were using the game to lure victims to them and to rob them, so obviously you’ll want to be extra careful if you do plan on employing such services. An alternative would be to hire an Uber to drive you around, which is what some gamers have suggested.
Or if you have a drone, perhaps you could do what this guy did and fly your phone around and collect Pokemon without having to leave the comfort of your own home, and we guess as far as your drone will be able to fly.
