The Geekbench doesn’t really tell us that much about the phone. Apparently it will sport 6-cores clocked at 1.44GHz, but the make and model of the chipset is a mystery. It also appears to come with 3GB of RAM, and the Geekbench listing has revealed that it will be another Android-powered handset from the Canadian company.
Apart from that, the rest is a mystery, like what kind of cameras it could pack, what size is its display, how high is its resolution, and etc. However there have been some rumors that have suggested that the BlackBerry “Rome” will sport a physical QWERTY keyboard. We’re not sure if this will result in a BlackBerry Passport-like design, or if we could be looking at a phone similar to the PRIV with a slideout keyboard.
In any case BlackBerry is expected to share more details about their plans next week, so we guess we’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime there have also been rumors about a trio of BlackBerry phones codenamed Neon, Argon, and Mercury which means that this could be a very busy year for the company.
