Apple has recently launched Apple Pay in France which brings the same mobile payment features that we have come to expect from it. Users in France will now be able to take advantage of their phone’s NFC to make mobile payments at stores that support the payment service. Of course with it being relatively new in the country, not every retailer will support it right out of the door.
Apple’s website lists some retailers and banks that do support Apple Pay, so you can head on over if you’d like to check them out. There are several big name brands listed, such as Carrefour, Sephora, and Total just to name a few. We expect that as time progresses more retailers will be adding support for the platform, but if you shop at any of these stores you should be able to use the service without any issue.
