Apple has confirmed that it’s going to open its ninth retail store in New York City later this month. This is the company’s first retail store in the borough of Brooklyn and it’s going to be opened next weekend. The store is located in Brooklyn’s Willamsburg neighborhood, at the corner of 247 Bedford Ave. to be precise.
Most of Apple’s New York City retail stores are located in Manhattan, the number climbed up to six when the Upper East Side retail store was opened about a year back. Apple also has retail stores in Queens and Staten Island, but this is the first time that its brick-and-mortar store is opening up in the borough of Brooklyn.
It has been known for a while now that Apple is working on a store for the area. It began hiring for this location back in May this year, some two years after it signed a long-term lease for the site. The company has been renovating the site since last year.
Apple’s new retail store is located in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood at the corner of North 3rd Street and Bedford Avenue. The store is going to be opened on July 30th, a grand opening celebration is going to take place at 10 am Eastern, so if you’re in the area, it might be worth checking it out.
