For those of you who have been meaning to subscribe to the likes of Xbox Live Gold but think it’s a bit expensive for your liking, you might be interested to learn that Amazon is offering a discount on the subscription service, where instead of charging full price for the subscription, you will be able to get it at a much cheaper rate.
Just in case you didn’t know, a subscription to Xbox Live Gold from Microsoft would easily set you back $60 a year, which by itself isn’t too expensive especially when you consider that other subscription services like Netflix will end up costing you twice that amount. However the deal on Amazon will knock that price down to $40, saving you $20 in the process.
No word on how long Amazon plans on offering this deal, but like we said if you are keen on getting an Xbox Live Gold subscription but its price always put you off, then maybe this deal could be worth checking out. Note that this only applies to the 12-month subscription and if you want to subscribe for 3 months or 7 months, the prices will remain the same.
Also chances are when your subscription is up, the prices will be going back to normal unless there’s another deal going on, so head on over to Amazon’s website to check it out.
