So it seems like we could be getting another classic FPS title soon. According to the rumors, it seems that we can expect Bethesda to announce Wolfenstein: The New Order 2 at E3 2016. Wolfenstein is a classic when it comes to FPS titles and we guess we wouldn’t mind seeing the sequel to The New Order which was released in 2014.
Rumors of a sequel came about last year when a voice actress for the first game revealed on a TV interview that a sequel was in the works. This was in 2015 where she also said that the sequel would take 2 more years. Given that we’re now in 2016, it means that if the rumors are true, The New Order 2 would be launched in 2017 which honestly doesn’t sound like much of a stretch.
In addition to The New Order 2, like we reported earlier, there are also rumors that Bethesda could announce a remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Of course take this with a grain of salt for now, but with E3 2016 around the corner and with Bethesda scheduling a press conference, we definitely know that something will be announced.
That being said, we did mention classic FPS titles earlier which was a reference to Bethesda and id Software launching the latest DOOM game. Now all we need is a new Quake game and we would have completed the trifecta.
