Verizon Lists The Moto Mods, And They Will Not Be Cheap

Last week Lenovo officially announced the Moto Z, Moto Z Force and the Moto Mods. Just in case you missed the announcement, the Moto Z and Z Force are the company’s latest phones and the Moto Mods are basically the snap-on modular accessories designed specifically for them, and we guess also following in the footsteps of the LG G5 and its “Friends” accessories.

Now there was no word on pricing during the announcement, but thanks to a post on Reddit, it seems that Verizon has listed some of the prices for the Moto Mods, and it looks like none of them will be cheap. Starting with the projector mod, this will set customers back $300 in addition to the price of the phone.

There is also the TUMI wireless powerpack that is priced at $99, while the regular powerpack will retail for $89. There is also the Kate Spade shell casing for the phone that will retail for $79 which is admittedly rather pricey, but then again this is a branded case so we guess you’ll be paying more for the brand than anything. Then there is also the JBL SoundBoost Moto Mod which is priced at $80.

To be fair other brands like Mophie are also charging around $100 for their battery packs, so in reality these prices are in line with what we can expect from other brands, but just in case you were hoping they’d be more affordable, we guess you would be disappointed.
