According to reports, it seems that next week the carrier could be announcing some changes to their service that users might be happy about. One of the changes is that data will be able to be carried over, meaning that if you can’t finish your data this month, don’t worry you can just bring it forward to the next month.
It is unclear if there is a limit and how many months forward you can bring your leftover data, but either way it is still a pretty nice feature to have. In addition, it also seems that Verizon has included overages protection where users can enable what they’re calling “Safety Mode” that instead of billing you more for additional data, users can opt to pay for reduced speeds at $5 a month until the next billing cycle.
While Verizon has yet to confirm these features, the company did reach out to Droid-Life and teased that they are going to have some fireworks next week, so do check back with us then for the details.
