It has been officially announced that Titanfall 2 will be released on the 28th of October, which means that we can expect that players will be able to pre-order the game in the coming months. Now if a standard copy of the game isn’t enough for you, you might be interested to learn that there will be a Vanguard Edition you can check out.
So what is this Vanguard Edition? As you can see in the photo above, it is essentially a collector’s edition copy of the game. It will naturally come with a copy of the game itself, but we reckon its main selling point would be the full scale replica helmet that will come with a blue, light-up translucent faceplate, a tactical ARC rail system, and a stand.
In addition there will also be a tactical spotlight and targeting laser sight. Other items bundled like an 8GB dog tag USB drive, a field journal, a Vanguard shemagh scarf, and like we said, a copy of the Deluxe version of the game. Unsurprisingly this bundle will not come cheap as it will set players back $250, so we guess you’ll have to really ask yourself if this helmet is what you need.
It is unclear if this will be a limited edition copy of the game like what we’ve seen with the Fallout 4 Pip-boy Edition, but given its $250 price tag, it will most likely be picked up by collectors or hardcore fans of the game.
