Telltale has confirmed that season three of its episodic The Walking Dead game series is going to be released later this year in the fall. The previous two seasons of The Walking Dead game have been well received so fans are anxiously waiting to get their hands on the new episode. Telltale has also been working on an episodic Batman game, it says that the Batman game will make an appearance at the upcoming E3 2016 gaming convention.
The confirmation came over Twitter from Job Stauffer, who is the head of creative communications at the company. He provided the release timeframe for The Walking Dead: Season Three aside from confirming that the Batman episodic game will be showcased at E3.
Stauffer reiterated Telltale’s promise that the debut episode of the episodic Batman game is going to be released this summer. He didn’t provide any more information about this game but since E3 isn’t that far off, we can wait for a couple of days to find out more.
The Walking Dead’s story is going to pick right up later this year in the fall. Telltale has been teasing the third season since 2014 actually, but it released a three-episode miniseries following the wrap up of season 2. The miniseries ended in April this year and now we’re looking at a fall release for The Walking Dead: Season Three.
