Sony has made us all wait for quite a long time for The Last Guardian. This game was first announced a few years ago and then we didn’t hear much about it. There were rumors that perhaps The Last Guardian had been cancelled, but in June last year, Sony promised that it will release the game for PlayStation 4 in 2016. At its E3 2016 press event, Sony finally confirmed The Last Guardian release date, it’s slated to be released later this year.
The Last Guardian was first announced back in 2009 for PlayStation 3, but nothing much was said about it after, and when game’s designer and director Fumito Ueda left Sony it only made people believe that The Last Guardian was no more.
Sony officially unveiled the game once again at E3 last year and without providing a specific release date, it confirmed that the game will be released in 2016. Now that the PlayStation 3 has been left behind, The Last Guardian was predictably announced for PlayStation 4.
The company finally confirmed at E3 2016 that The Last Guardian will be released later this year. It also released a new trailer for the game which gives a fleeting look at the game, it looks as stylish and sad as ever before.
The Last Guardian will be released for PlayStation 4 on October 25th, 2016.
