T-Mobile’s made its uncarrier 11 announcement today, and as expected, Magenta is going to give away shares in the company as well as assorted free stuff to customers every week. Uncarrier 11 is all about appreciating its customers and I daresay giving free stuff is just the way to thank people. The carrier has launched a new app called T-Mobile Tuesdays through which the free stuff will be doled out.
Through the app, postpaid customers will be able to get a free two-topping Domino’s pizza, a VUDU movie rental, and a small Wendy’s Frosty free every Tuesday. Aside from these weekly free gifts, the app will also offer a surprise gift every week.
The first surprise gift comes tomorrow, it’s a free ticket to the new Warcraft movie. T-Mobile Tuesdays app will also enable customers to try their luck for bigger prizes which include a $10,000 New York City shopping spree and a trip to MLB All-Star Week. Magenta has released the T-Mobile Tuesdays app for Android, it’s also going to be available for iOS.
Stock Up is the second part of its uncarrier 11 initiative. Under this program, primary account holders will get one free share in T-Mobile and customers can earn up to 100 additional shares in T-Mobile by referring other people to the carrier. Customers who have been with T-Mobile for five years or more will get two shares per referral. The Stock Up program is now live.
