T-Mobile today announced the sixth expansion of its Binge On program in just seven months after its launch. It has added more services to the program, enabling users to stream video for free from nearly 90 providers. Starting today providers like Azubu, Dailymotion Games, Eyegroove, PBS, PBS KIDS and more have joined Binge On. They’re in good company as the program already plays host to the likes of Netflix, YouTube, and HBO.
Binge On changes the way how T-Mobile users stream video. The program allows them to stream video free in DVD quality from all supported services without having it count against their data allotment, this enables users to stretch their mobile data further without having to worry about getting a bill shock due to excessive data usage.
T-Mobile customers have streamed more than 500 million hours of video through Binge On ever since this program was announced, Magenta has also said that its customers are now watching up to 2x more video from participating providers.
The full list of all content providers that are supported by Binge On is up on T-Mobile’s website. New additions include YouTube Gaming, PBS, PBS Kids, Eyegroove, Fow Sports, and Dailymotion Games.
Video streams from supported providers typically stream at 480p or better with Binge On. Customers always have the option to disable this program but then all video streaming will count against their data plan should they watch over a cellular connection.
