These days if you want sparkling water, you won’t have to go out and buy it because there are devices like the SodaStream that will fizz your drinks up for you, unless of course there is a particular brand that you prefer. Now it seems like the company has decided to capitalize on the fact that the Keurig Kold is being discontinued by offering customers free replacements.
Note that this isn’t true replacement as both machines are quite different. The SodaStream Fountain Jet will carbonate your drink, while the Keurig Kold makes soda, but we guess if you’re after carbonated drinks in general, this could be a good deal. The company announced that Keurig Kold customers are eligible for this offer and all they’ll have to do is snap a selfie of themselves with their machine, send it to SodaStream along with the machine’s serial number, and they will receive a promo code that will let them get a free Fountain Jet.
However the Fountain Jet will require users to connect it to CO2 canisters which is what helps to fizz up your drink, so you will be making the switch from buying Keurig Kold pods to CO2 canisters which could be more expensive, but we guess it’s better than keeping a machine that has been discontinued, and presumably its pods will also eventually go the way of the dinosaur.
