Earlier this year it was reported that Resident Evil 5 would eventually be making its way onto the Xbox One and the PS4, and sure enough it has. Gamers who are looking to relive their glory days will be pleased to learn that the game is now available for their consoles in digital form, and it will also come with all of its DLCs as well.
However for those who prefer collecting physical copies of games, don’t worry as Capcom has you covered as well, although you might have to wait a bit. The physical version of the game will be released in North America come 12th of July, so if you’d rather not wait then you can always opt to go digital.
This will be a remastering of the original game and will feature all of the Mercenaries content and a new difficulty level for gamers looking to challenge themselves. Now we know that Capcom already confirmed Resident Evil 7 so the question is why would gamers want to play Resident Evil 5 when they can wait for 7?
However given that the game won’t be coming out until January 2017, we suppose this could be a good way to tide gamers over and get the hype up and running until its release.
