Many Halo 5 players have long been waiting for the new Warzone Firefight mode that was confirmed several weeks ago. 343 Industries has detailed the new mode on more than one occasion so it’s not like people don’t already know about it. 343 Industries has finally confirmed when the Warzone Firefight Halo 5 mode is going to be released. This is going to be the eighth free content release for this popular game.
The latest free content release includes Warzone Firefight mode. It combines Halo 5’s Warzone multiplayer mode and Halo 3: ODST’s Firefight playlist. Feedback from the beta that went live in April has enabled 343 Industries to add features like new bosses and vehicles.
It also includes a new campaign feature called Score Attack, which enables players to compete against their friends for points and medals in online co-op or solo. Attack on Sanctum, Prospect, and Molten are the three new maps included in this release.
Tidal is a new forge canvas that’s included in this content release. It allows players to forge on a large body of water, that’s something many fans of the Forge Mode requested. New REQ items including the Cinder and Cyclops armor sets, Covenant vehicles, and weapon variants are present as well.
To commemorate the Warzone Firefight release the full Halo 5: Guardians game will be available as a free download to all Xbox Live Gold members from June 29th to July 5th. Halo 5: Guardians is also going to be on sale for 50 percent off during this time.
The Halo 5 Warzone Firefight release has been confirmed for Wednesday, June 29th.
