Sony has been working on its virtual reality headset for quite some time now. It started out as being known just as Project Morpheus before Sony confirmed that it’s going to be called PlayStation VR. The company talked about it quite a bit at E3 2016 and confirmed when it’s going to be released. Many of you may not have had the chance to try it out but that changes starting tomorrow as PlayStation VR demos are coming to retailers across the United States.
Tomorrow and the day after, that’s June 17th and June 18th, Sony is going to offer PlayStation VR demos at more than 30 Best Buy and GameStop locations across the United States. The company says that this number will be increased to 300 locations across the US and Canada starting June 24th.
Those who are interested in trying out PlayStation 4 can click here to visit the website where they can quickly and easily find the Best Buy or GameStop location nearest to them where the demo is going to be offered.
You will get to experience PlayStation VR Worlds, EVE: Valkyrie, Headmaster, Battlezone, and SUPERHYPERCUBE. More game demos will be added to the lineup leading up to the headset’s launch later this year.
PlayStation VR is going to be released on October 13th, 2016. You may want to place a pre-order because Sony is already predicting that the PlayStation VR will be in short supply due to high demand at launch.
