It is widely believed that come June 14, the OnePlus 3 will be announced. Turns out the rumors were kind of correct because as it turns out, OnePlus has apparently confirmed the launch on Weibo in which the handset will be revealed in China on the 15th of June, which technically is still the 14th stateside, so we guess it makes sense.
The phone will be launched at 10pm EDT on the 14th so if you’d like the details, remember to check back with us then. Unfortunately OnePlus did not confirm any of the handset’s specs, but given the various leaks we guess we kind of know what to expect, and if the rumors are to be believed, there could be more than one variant.
For starters, we have heard that the phone will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset under the hood. There will also be 4GB of RAM, but like we said, it seems that there is also a variant with 6GB of RAM which will presumably cost more, but we’re not sure by how much more.
Other rumored specs include a 16MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. It will also most likely launch with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as Android N has yet to be officially released.
