Microsoft’s official E3 presentation will be taking place later today and unfortunately it seems that none other than Microsoft had spoiled the surprise early. For those wondering what we’re talking about, it seems that Microsoft had accidentally posted an image of the upcoming upgraded Xbox One S on their website ahead of their announcement.
Given that this was “leaked” by none other than Microsoft themselves, we guess it is more or less official. That being said when asked about all the leaks regarding their E3 presentation, Microsoft has since responded to GameSpot with the only answer which we reckon best sums up the entire situation: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yup, you read that right. Microsoft has responded to the rumors with an ASCII art of a person making a shrugging action because in all honesty, what else is there to say? That being said, we guess we are still looking forward to learning more about the console tomorrow, and let’s not forget the various trailers and games that we will be learning more about.
Just in case you need a recap, the Xbox One S will be an upgraded version of the current Xbox One. It will be slimmer, support 4K and HDR content, and will also come with a 2TB hard drive and a new streamlined controller. In any case be sure to check back with us later for Microsoft’s official announcement which will be taking place in a few hours’ time.
