According to Nichols, “We are just days away from E3 2016 and we’re excited to share more details on what Xbox fans can expect this year and beyond. We expect this to be a special E3.” Of course it could just be Nichols hyping up Microsoft’s presence at the event, it is possibly part of his job description after all.
However with all the rumors swirling about, it certainly does sound like a pretty happening E3 this year. There have also been rumors that Microsoft could unveil virtual reality games for the Xbox One which we reckon could be viewed as just as “special”, although we’re guessing that a more powerful Xbox One is still the top of many gamers’ lists.
Microsoft won’t be alone in unveiling new hardware. There are also rumors that Sony could have a new PS4 in the works called the PS4 “Neo”, which apparently will be more powerful as well and will be able to support 4K resolution. In any case E3 2016 is next week so do check back with us then for the details.
