OnePlus will soon unveil its next flagship smartphone, a couple of pictures of the handset have leaked online ahead of the official launch. There have been many rumors and leaks about this handset already, the latest leaked pictures confirm what we have been hearing about the handset, that it’s going to have a metal body. At first glance, the handset does appear to look good, much better than any of its predecessors.
These pictures show that the OnePlus 3 is going to have a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button with a very nice display that has tapered side edges. The metal is on full display at the back where it has antenna lines that will remind you of the iPhone.
Rumored specifications of the OnePlus 3 include a 5.5 inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB and 6GB RAM depending upon configuration, up to 128GB of storage, 16 megapixel rear and 8 megapixel front camera, USB Type-C port, 3,450mAh battery as well as Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
No word on the pricing as yet but the OnePlus 3 is expected to cost less than $400. If that’s true, it’s going to be a very compelling smartphone at that price.
OnePlus is going to formally announce the OnePlus 3 tomorrow. Those who are interested in picking one up will be delighted to know that the company has done away with its tedious invite system for purchasing smartphones.
